DJs

Platinum DJs have over 50 DJs to choose from on their DJ Roster. A DJ Profiles page has been set up so customers can read about each DJ's background, view pictures and read reviews from previous clients. You are then in the perfect position to make an informed decision on which DJ is most suitable for your requirements and music tastes.

All Platinum DJs are very courteous, reliable and presentable to ensure they blend in well with your event and guests. Every DJ has undertaken an in-house training programme to ensure they are suitably experienced prior to undertaking any performances for Platinum. Their level of performance is therefore assured to meet high standards.

Dress Codes include Black Tie with Dinner Suit / Smart / Smart Casual / Fancy Dress!

Disco Hire and DJ Equipment Hire

Disco Sound Systems are of night club specification offering punchy bass, with powerful mid-range and clear treble. The lighting rig supplied is also of night club specification (but portable) consisting of 2 x DMX Linked Intelligent Projection Abstract Twister 4 - 250 Watt HPs, which beam synchronous colours and patterns in a laser type effect when used in conjunction with a Fog/Haze machine (also included). There are also 2 x XTC 250 Rainbow Scanner / Splitters which cover the walls, ceiling and dancefloor with a rainbow flood of warm colours. The lighting can be controlled to give a contemporary night club display or a more traditional party/disco presentation.

The reason we provide the best equipment available is because we know it is absolutely necessary to create the right atmosphere on the dancefloor. Nobody wants to dance to distorted music and dull lighting.

All Disco and DJ Equipment is PAT tested in accordance with ISO 9002 and maintained to the highest standards for both performance and reliability. Full Public Liability Insurance is included.

DJ Playlists

DJ Playlists are sent to clients before booking so they can choose their own tracks. We have over 10,000 tracks covering every music genre. Platinum DJs operate a FREE Advance Request Service - allowing customers to choose their favourite tracks unless clients would rather leave it to the discretion and experience of the DJ. This will ensure the music played is specifically chosen for each individual Event. Clients are also welcome to create their own list of songs. Any tracks that are not on our list that you wish to have played, we will purchase especially for your event.

We constantly up date our music library to keep abreast of current music and have very extensive playlists covering every music genre from the 1920's to Current Chart. This allows us to play around 95% of all requests made on the night by guests. All of our DJs are happy to take requests both in advance and on the night as well as play music to keep the dance floor busy all night.

The DJs will play these requests and other popular tracks to keep the dancefloor busy all night, making a memorable event for all guests. The DJ Playlist is taylor made for each specific event .

DJ & Disco Reliability

All Platinum bookings are contractual, leaving you to enjoy your special event, knowing that everything is in capable hands and not having to worry about DJs turning up/ lateness/ illness/ equipment breakdown. We have a pool of 50 DJs to cover any illness issues and a back up van with replacement equipment in the very rare event of a breakdown.

We spend significantly more than our competitors on equipment to make sure it is of the highest quality both in performance and reliability. All equipment is maintained and tested in accordance with I.S.O. 9002 (P.A.T. Testing).

Platinum also have £1 million Public Liability Insurance which most venues will insist upon.
